First Look

This book is a great read. The descriptive writing of Katherine Howe will reel you in as though you are actually there. At times the story is predictable and makes you wonder what the characters are thinking but you keep on reading anyway because the story is so well written. Ms. Howe's treatment of past and present in this book shifts so seamlessly that you enjoy each and every section. I give this book 5 stars and will be looking for more by Katherine Howe.
